Inspection terms.

What the inspection is

A pre-purchase inspection is a visual and diagnostic check of a vehicle, usually about one hour, at the location you choose. It reports what the inspector could see and test on that day.

What it is not

It is not an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate, an emissions test, a mechanical teardown or an appraisal. We do not remove parts or panels.

No guarantee

No inspection can find every problem. We do not guarantee the condition, value, history or future reliability of any vehicle. Items we could not confirm are marked "Not verified" in your report.

History information

History and lien information comes from documents and reports available at the time, such as the UVIP or a history report you supply. We are not responsible for errors in those sources.

Price and payment

The price is agreed before the inspection. Extra services, such as history reports, travel outside the GTA or specialized testing, are quoted before we book.

Seller cooperation

If the seller cancels or refuses the inspection on site, we will contact you about rescheduling.

Repairs

Repairs and safety certificates are provided by independent shops such as AC/DC Auto Centre, McCracken Auto Service and Right Auto Service Centre, booked and paid directly with them.
